Urgent Help Required

Post by fruitbat »

I have just had a visit from Marstons claiming I owe them £879 seemingly stemming from a speeding ticket issued by Wigan and Leigh police. I recall receiving a letter from police and me stating I was the driver. Then I moved house , informing DVLA in July 20. Bailiff claims the case went to court in Oct 20.

Phoned the police and the Central Ticket Ticket Office is closed til tomorrow morning. Bailiff could not provide me with details of the date and reference of the original offence. Don't have a clued which Court is involed.

Bailiff intends to return tomorrow. What do I do ???

I second that.

Make a statutory declaration and that ends the enforcement power, and revoked the conviction and the fine.
