Advice please!

Hello all. Had some distressing news from an old neighbour.

We moved out of our house 18 months ago and apparently there has been 2 visits from 2 gentlemen with crown (vague description) badges asking for me with a file of documents. Once at our old house and then down at a place of work they thought I lived at. Both times 2 men (only 1 spoke).

Have called hmrc, customs excise, utility company etc and nothing about old debts. I am debt free.

Does anyone know what this could be, got me concerned!

Turning up with the bovver boys unannounced in not compliant with the regulations.

Run a check on your old address on Trust Online might trump up a CCJ and the bailiff has a Writ of Control

Visit trustonline.org.uk and search your old address. Look for the claim number.

Nothing on there. Also called local county court and nothing there either. Very odd.

Try searching your current address.

If nothing. Park it.
