Letter from the county court. CEL

Post by Danp0407 »

Hi all

Any help at all will be greatly appreciated.

I have received a letter from county court business centre saying i owe £314 for parking in a free car park.

I did receive letters from cel but ignored them. Stupidly i thought they would go away after having a quick browse online.

My question is, should i just pay the amount, or is there still a way of me beating it.

Ill take it on the chin either way.

Thanks guys.

You can defend it. Nothing to lose.

Use this to build a defence

Thank you for the reply.

I dont have the dates times etc, there is no information on the county court letter either, this shocks me, it doesnt even say what the fine is for tbf. Can i ise the template without this information?

Thank you

I have added a copy of the letter i recieved. No info about what the money is owed.

I will contact court to hopefully get information.

Question. When i get this info do i send the defence form to the court or CEL.

Thank you very much

Its a default judgment.

If your address on it is not current, you can defend it CPR 23:10.

Hi all.

So to heads where im at now.

I bit the bullet and paid the £314. Lesson learned dont ingnore the letters they send and hit them early. 😩

Now, my credit score has dropped ALOT. My question now is, from anybodys experience, will it be instated straight away to what it once was?

Ive basically paid straight away to avoid the ccj staying on my file.
