Bailiff action covid

Post by Daz1977 »

Anyone know what is the stance of the enforcement agent companies at the moment. I heard it was suspended until August , taking control of goods.

Will it be full enforcement in August or softly approach with no entering properties..

I have a fine to pay for speeding which I totally forgot about and willing to pay but no in full as not been working I got the letter prior to lockdown agreeing a plan and heard nothing since.

Unofficially, lockdown was to end and bailiffs back on the streets 23 June. Officially, lockdown is still on.

To get the latest, see: amendments to Schedule 12

For lockdown status, see:

Just get the fine paid to end the enforcement power. Pay it online to court and keep the receipt for your file.

If a warrant is already issued then you might get an angry bailiff wanting his fee, but he has no enforcement power to recover it.

If you have a bailiff notice then you must give notice the amount outstanding has been paid.
