JBW Payment arrangement

Post by CITYBIRD7 »

Hi all,

Need help please re the above. I contacted JBW a week before my payment was due(next to last payment) via email AND their enquiry service via my account as employers have deducted money from my salary from a lease car scheme that ended(unavoidable end of lease charges). I said I was having difficulty paying so needed to alter so 1 final payment of the outstanding balance(402) would be made on 26th July, the same date the agreement was due to finish anyway.
I received a bog standard copy and paste email after 3 days telling me to contact the office. Trying to cut a long story short I have rung the office 4 times and each time been told my 'case handler' is not available and she will call me back. This has not happened! The payment arrangement obviously was subsequently broken. I have filled in their complaint back and sent it off 5 days ago and still heard nothing yet they have kindly added a £75 compliance fee and text me to advise an enforcement officer will be sent soon. What on earth can I do when they ignore all my requests?!

Thanks

Do not call the bailiff company, they will mess you about.

If the arrangement was not broken then you don't owe a fee. They have done that to put your money in their pocket and get your back up.

If you pay the council the liability order amount, including all money paid to the bailiff company, the enforcement power ends. Paragraph 6(3) of Schedule 12 of the Tribunals Courts and Enforcement Act 2007,

Thanks for your reply. The arrangement was broken though because no one rang me back in time to deal with it, despite me making first contact a week before the payment was due.
I cannot make the payment in full until the 26th this month. I have still had no response to my formal written complaint.

Don't expect a positive action to your complaint.

Get the creditor settled, deal with the bailiff company later.
